What Are Other Famous Lengthy Jail Sentences?
The state of Oklahoma is well known for its' laws punishing criminals with lengthy jail sentences. The harshest penalties are for violent crimes, especially those that involve young children or minors. Charles Scott Robinson is infamous for his crimes and for the fact that he received the longest prison sentence in U.S. history. Robinson was sentenced to 30,000 years for sex crimes committed against a 3-year old girl in the 1990s.
