Police Seek Three Accused of Sex Abuse in Cleveland County

Sheriff's deputies in Cleveland County, Oklahoma, are seeking three fugitive suspects accused of the rape and sexual abuse of a thirteen year old girl.  Warrants have been issued for a man and two women alleged to have assaulted the girl on multiple occasions in Moore, Norman, and Noble:

  • Joseph Michael Siford, 40, of Moore, is wanted on complaints of first-degree rape, rape by instrumentation, lewd acts with a minor, and production of child pornography.
  • Siford's wife, Danyale Bernice Siford, 34, is wanted on complaints of lewd acts with a minor and allowing or engaging in the sexual abuse of a child.
  • A friend of the Sifords, Michelle "Chelle" Danae Walker, 43, of Noble, is wanted on complaints of first degree rape by instrumentation, forcible sodomy, lewd acts with a minor, production of child pornography, and allowing or engaging in the sexual abuse of a child.
Authorities first became aware of the allegations against the Sifords and Walker earlier in the month.  Since then, the three suspects have quit their jobs and vacated their residences and are believed to be travelling together in separate vehicles.  The Cleveland County Sheriff's Department is asking the public's help in locating the Sifords and Walker or the vehicles in which they are assumed to be travelling:  a gray 2006 Ford F-150 pickup with the Oklahoma license tag 996-HYC and a tan and white 2008 Toyota FJ Cruiser with the Oklahoma tag 234-HIA. Affidavits claim that Chelle Walker introduced the girl to the Sifords, and the three began to sexually exploit her.  Walker and Joseph Siford are accused of having sex with the girl and videotaping one encounter, leading to the child pornography charge. The actions against Joseph and Danyale Siford and Chelle Walker are serious, indeed.  However, fleeing and attempting to evade prosecution is not an ideal way to attempt to handle such an intense situation.  Rather, anyone accused of sexually abusing a minor should immediately seek the legal counsel and representation of a qualified, experienced Oklahoma sex crimes lawyer.  Even the most dire situations provide opportunities for defense and for bringing the case to its best possible resolution.  Running from prosecution only adds to the difficulties heaped upon an accused suspect. If you or someone you love has been accused of a serious sex offense, do not try to run from your problems; face them head-on by hiring a sex crime defense attorney who can help you take a proactive approach to your defense.
