Dustin Phillips

Dustin Phillips was born and raised in Savannah, Georgia. He attended Georgia State University on a baseball scholarship where he received a Bachelors of Science in Political Science with a concentration in Pre-Law. While at Georgia State University, Mr. Phillips was selected to the Presidents List, (a select group for those with a 4.0 G.P.A.), as well as the National Deans List. Mr. Phillips was also a 3-time All Conference selection in baseball., and was the only player in Georgia State University history to be voted to the “All Atlantic Sun” team two times. Mr. Phillips was also voted ‘Most Outstanding Hitter’ two times, and left Georgia State University with the second highest career batting average in school history.

After college, Mr. Phillips attended Oklahoma City University School of Law where he received his Juris Doctor degree. After law school, Mr. Phillips went to work for the Oklahoma County District Attorney’s office.. In 2008, family responsibilities led Mr. Phillips to open his own practice. He operated as a solo practitioner until 2010, when he joined Mark Bailey to form Phillips & Bailey.

Mr. Phillips has successfully handled all types of criminal cases ranging from traffic tickets to Murder. He has obtained many acquittals and produced positive results for clients in State and Federal Court as a result of his experience as both a trial attorney and a negotiator.

Mr. Phillips is a member of the Oklahoma Criminal Defense Lawyers Association as well as the Oklahoma Bar Association. In his spare time, Mr. Phillips enjoys fishing and practicing Brazilian Jiu Jitsu.
